Executive Search

​Wickham Partners offers a traditional Executive Search service, powered by advanced research and the latest cloud-based recruitment technology. We will only ever undertake assignments where we are 100% confident of a successful outcome. Client collaboration is key and a central part of our 3 stage process: 

Stage 1: Briefing

  • Meet with the client to obtain a full brief of the role and the background to the function.

  • Pre-identify potential candidates.

  • Conduct research and take soundings from the market.

  • Begin long-list process and document suitability, experience, availability and interest.

  • Review the resulting long-list outcomes with the client and agree on the preferred candidate targets for the shortlist.

Stage 2: Shortlisting & Execution

  • Wickham Partners will conduct personal interviews with each shortlisted candidate and evaluate their candidacy in respect of the role, the culture of the firm and the team fit.

  • Meet with the client to present the shortlist with full candidate summaries inclusive of compensation, benefits, notice period and overall work experience.

  • Work with the client to ensure ED&I metrics are summarised in the  search

  • Arrange interviews, provide expert interview preparation to the candidate and advise on best-practice regarding the interview process for the client. 

Stage 3: Closing

  • Carefully manage the communication to all parties for the final stage interview(s). 

  • Arrive at chosen candidate and manage communication throughout the offer stage to ensure that all parties can reach a satisfactory arrangement.

  • Formal offer is made, followed by formal referencing.

  • Maintain close contact with the candidate through the resignation phase and ensure a seamless transition to our client's firm.

Market Mapping

Wickham Partners keeps a detailed Market Map of the Regulatory Compliance teams within the major corporate & investment banks in London. From Markets Advisory through to Reg Policy, Monitoring, Surveillance & Central Functions. We also have experience of undertaking mapping projects for clients who want to understand the structure of their key competitors. From this analysis, we are able to provide costings analysis and benchmarking against the wider market.

Professional Assessments

The more senior the position, the more impact their performance can affect the bottom line of the organisation. Wickham Partners can work with clients to find independent and objective assessment solutions to incorporate into the process. This removes any element of perceived bias from the process and enables clarity in decision making on selecting the best candidate.

Salary Surveys and Guides are published annually but only reflect the data compiled over the last year. Sometimes, you will want to review how your key competitors assign work to particular job levels, compare and contrast overall management assignments and those of their direct reports. This insight, provided with detailed analysis on 'how, why and who' provides our clients with enhanced metrics to enable improved decision-making and optimising team performance.
